SOME REASONS WHY FONDANT CRACKS
1.Dry Fondant.
2.Thickly rolled fondant.
3.The Fondant was not rolled properly.
SOLUTION TO CRACKING FONDANT
1.Moisten up the fondant by adding Shortening.
2.Roll out your Fondant to about 1/4 inch thick.
3.Also,when kneading fondant,you should knead properly to make it more elastic. 4.Reduce the amount of C.M.C and increase the glucose a little bit.
5.Tiny cracks can also be solved through the pressing of the smoother or through the heat of your hands, try putting shortening in your fingers as you smoothen the Fondant.
