SWEATING FONDANT
Sweating fondant are annoying and makes a baker unhappy with his or her job.
It also makes an experienced baker look like a beginner before the client who is expecting a lovely cake from the baker.
Be sad no more, here are some solutions to Sweating fondant:
1.Control air temperature and humidity levels before and after covering a cake with fondant.A warm, humid room will draw moisture from the fondant and cause sweating. Turn on your air conditioner or a fan to maintain cool, dry air temperatures. 2.Remove stickiness that can lead to sweating by sprinkling 1 to 2 teaspoons of icing sugar or a combination of half icing sugar and half corn flour on your work surface and rolling pin before rolling fondant.
3.Always make your fondant a day or two days before use.
