RECIPE

Vanilla Cookies

 Ingredients

✅ Butter 250g

✅ Sugar 1/2 cup

✅ 4cups of Flour

✅ Vanilla Flavor  1 teaspoon

✅ Powdered Milk

✅ Egg  2

✅ Baking powder 1 teaspoon

Chocolate Cookies

 Ingredients

✅ Butter 250g

✅ Sugar 1/2 cup

✅ 4cups of Flour

✅ Vanilla Flavor

✅Powdered Milk

✅ 1&1/2 Tablespoon of Cocoa powder

✅ Egg  2

✅ Baking powder 1 teaspoon.

Note: Vanilla and chocolate Cookies should be mixed and prepared separately, then after baking, u can make the beautiful mixture - Chocolate,vanilla,chocolate,vanilla,chocolate....like that

METHOD

* Cream butter and sugar together until well mixed & the colour slightly changes 

▪Add your flavor and egg and mix.

▪Add the dry ingredients and mix it until it looks like crumbs,at this point, use CLEAN HANDS to form the cookie dough.

▪Then wrap in a cling film and put in the fridge to chill for 30minutes... IF YOU DONT HAVE A FRIDGE, allow the dough to rest a bit in the mixing bowl before you continue.

▪Cut a small portion to work on first. 

Use rolling pin to roll out that portion into the thickness you'll like, and then cut them into different shapes and sizes using round cookie cutters... 

▪IF YOU DONT HAVE COOKIE CUTTERS, BE CREATIVE AND IMPROVISE. 

You can use BAMA Mayonnaise cover, a glass cup or empty liquid milk containers... Just make sure they are clean and dusted in flour before you cut out the dough.

▪Line a baking tray/sheet with paper or grease the tray with butter and dust it with flour. 

You can use a regular baking pan for this,just that you'll have to bake in batches.

▪Bake until cookies becomes slightly brown. You'll know it is well baked from the aroma.

You can do this on a stove top too if you don't have an oven.
